x-secretary of non profit will not release corp docs -is this legal?
I am a volunteer director of a nonprofit business, we recently had elections, when a new member nominated themselves for the position of Secretary, the currently secretary announced they would not run for reelection and resigned immediately. They have been asked several times to return the corporate documents and have not done so. They have said they would bring to a meeting in several weeks.
What legal recourse do we have to incent them to release these corp documents. Thank you |
