legal definition of a CARETAKER COMMITTEE

2 Questions: What is the legal definition of a \'CARETAKER COMMITTEE\' ? There is a National Executive Committee (NEC)for a non-profit org. The constitution states that that after the nomination of the Election Committee (EC), the current NEC will function in a CARETAKER CAPACITY. Is there a legal restriction on the current NEC\'s powers as a CARATAKER committee? |
