Water Issues
The city recently called and said that I have a water leak that is seeping into my neighbors yard. They claimed to confirm this by shutting of the main thereby reducing the standing water. The water and the man-hole is located on my neighbors property. My concern is that I'm not from the area, and it's a tight community, one where the neighbor has much influence over the town. Is this my problem?

The city has to repair that unless it is within your own system. You may want to have an expert come take a look first and see what is going on.

Thank you, Randall. I appreciate your response. We are going to get a plumber out there and hope for the best. If all works well, we'll pay for the research (i.e., dig and inspection) and get good news, such as the city needs to fix the issue.
