Confused Pond and dog

Neighbor has small yard pond which he said my dog chewed up his pump. Being good neighbor I told him I would cover pump replacement cost. He now drops off estimate for lining, pump, $1300 labor which is way overboard. Who is responsible for repairs if pond is non-fenced area, about 15' from property line on side yard? Does this fall under attractive nuisance? Thanks

Default Re: Pond and dog

You certainly can dispute the high cost but you normally are liable if your dog did the damage.
