Question Is there any way to locate the name of the insurance company insuring a property?

A property in a residential neighborhood is loaded with debris, enclosed trailers,
scrap metal, trees etc are overgrown. Is there anyway to locate the name of
insurance company that insures the property since it is a fire hazard. The local
township has been contacted numerous times & owner has been taken to court
only to pay the fines. There does not appear to be any mortgage on the properties.

Sorry for your circumstances. Unfortunately, this information is generally only obtainable through formal Court process. In other words, it can be discerned through Discovery (i.e. interrogatories, request for production of documents, etc.) or Court order (i.e. subpoena, deposition duces tecum, etc.). The problem is that for any of that to occur, suit would have to be filed. I can certainly understand your concern, so one thing to consider would be to meet with an attorney and discuss your options. You could get a referral from WLD for a lawyer in your local area by going to their main page. Hope all works out for you here. AJJ
