Default Neighbors destroying my property

When I first moved in there was a barrier plant, big and weedy, that separated my yard and their driveway. They have a portable basketball goal set up in their driveway positioned so that the ball goes into my yard.

BEFORE commencing work, I spoke to the neighbors. They agreed the plants were ugly and bug attracting. I spent a month digging them out and disposing of them.

I then planted rose bushes and a tree.

Their son trampled my roses. At first, I let it go. The second time, I requested they be more careful. The son promptly dug up a bush when no one was looking. I let it go, replanting the bush.

They then broke a bush again. I asked the neighbors to turn the goal so that the children will run into their own yard. They refused.

The neighbors then broke my bush a third time. I complained and the dad wasn't very helpful.

Then I wake up and my solar driveway lights are kicked down! A neighborhood child told me the neighbors child did it as I had complained over my bush.

I brought the broken light to my neighbor and explained that his son had done it. He basically told me to call the police or shut up.

What choice do I have in this matter? Can I make them turn their goal? What recourse do I have on the vandalism? i am in Tx.

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your local police asap!
