My neighbours say the roots from my tree are preventing them from building a retaining wall so they want me to cut the tree. They also mention that if the tree falls it will damage their property. I do not want to cut my tree but they are forcing me to saying that their insurance will not pay in case the tree falls onto their property. My tree is healthy and i donot even want to incur unnecessary expenses. What can i do now?

They can cut the root back to their property line and place a metal sheet in the ground.
You don't have to take down the tree if you don't want to. |
