She fell.

The other day my 5 year old daughter went to the ice cream truck after dropping her bike in the neighbors driveway partially on the grass. While my daughter was at the truck with all the other kids in our cul-de-sac, the neighbor lady (in her 50s or 60s) went to check her mail at the street. On her way she decided to pick up the bike and I guess put it on the sidewalk. The driveway has a slope to it and she ended up losing her balance and fell on her wrist breaking it. Why she picked up the bike I don't know. All the kids were right there and all she had to do was tell them to move it. My daughter was not malicious, just being a 5 year old. I consider it an accident. She hasn't asked for anything yet, so am I really liable for this?

It would be a tough suit for her to win. She did not have to move the bike at that moment by herself. Frankly we doubt she would sue.

now the other neighbors said that the lady is going to give me all her medical bills....Do I just call my homeowners ins. or tell her to.
