use of drive way

We live in an apartment building adjoining another apartment building and we share a driveway, at least that's what it looks like, there is no gate dividing the two sides of the driveway. The owner of our neighboring building lives in one of the apartments on the property. Yesterday I turned my car around on "his side" of the driveway and he yelled "hey" at me from the top of his stairs. I found that almost as offensive to begin with as his claim that I have to stay of his private property with my car. Does he have any real right to keep anyone from turning around their car on his side of the drive? For the most part, by the way, we don't have occassion to turn around the car in this manner, so it is a rare occurance. Also, his tenants turn their cars around on "our side" of the driveway, only to add hypocricy to his rude and offensive manner!

you will be able to see and then if need be stay on your side and warn his tenants--or enjoy the reasonable use of the entire drive
