Default Using our Property

Hi. We own an acre of undeveloped property in Pennsylvania. The family that lives beside the property asked if they could use the property for their horses until we were ready to build. We said ok. They have been using the property for over 6 years. We haven't been able to build due to finances. Is there any chance we can lose the property to them because of "Squatters Rights?" One of our friends suggested that we look into this. Also - if they are not complying with local zoning ordinances (Number of horses per acre), will we be held accountable? Thanks so much!
