EEK! My Harley

I start my harley and let it warm for about a minute at idle and then leave as quiet as possible. Coasting down the street.
The woman next door tries to tape the sound and says it will be evidence in court.
This seems laughable to me but apparently she thinks she has a case. She is taping from 50-60 yards away and gets an idle for a minute and then I'm gone.
Since I don't rev the engine or race up and down the street the other neigbors pay no attention to it. It's like a car passing with a loud muffler or something.
Is this woman a screwball doing this and thinking she is gonna have a case against me for making too much nolse? I'm in the county and no city or street ordinance applies and all we have are county police.
Seems like she's just being an idiot and I've had the Harley for 4 years now and same pipes. I think she can do nothing with tapes. Seems like she'd call the police if it's all that annoying.
Does she have a case on me?
Yes, the Harley is tricked-out and you need sunglasses to look at it. HAHAHH

That tape alone will not really prove how loud it is or was at the time.

She could ask that the police listen to it live and decide if it violates noise ordinances.

No, she has no case. Just flash her the bird when the tape isn't running and go on your merry way- she can't do a thing. It is a means of transportation- my brother owns a Harley as well, his isn't real loud but it's pretty noisey- it is actually an awesome sound, offer her a ride, maybe that will loosen her up a bit hahahaha-
But let her take you to court, she has nothing on you- can't do a thing.

haha. i LOVE bikes. no dude. she's just crazy. first of all you live in the county. there's no noise ordinance until 10pm or later (depending on where you live). 2nd...even if she has an issue w/ it you could counter-claim her for harassment or something. just ignore her and she'll go away. if you want to be funny send her an apple pie w/ a note: "i knew you were bored so i thought of you and wanted to send some warmth your way."..sumthin good. have fun w/ this. ;p
