US citizen to marry illegal immigrant
Can an illegal immigrant (currently living in the US from Mexico) marry a US citizen (for love) and successfully gain the right to live and work in the United States? What needs to be done in this case?

Not currently--they must have entered legally to begin with even if out of status now.
There may be new legislation eventually that would allow what you propose and more. |

Can an illegal alien become a citizen if they find out their estranged father was an American? What would be needed to prove it? Thanks.
