I'm an illegal immigrant in California
I've lived in California for the last six years, I'm 21yo and an illegal immigrant. My family and I came with tourist visas. I wanted to know what I could do on my own to apply for legal status and if my coming here underage affects me or my family. I've thought about going back to my home country but my parents don't want that and I don't want to leave them, plus I already have a life here, go to school and work, but the illegal status really bug me.
I appreciate the help. |

You can hope for the amnesty bills to go through in Congress.
or you could marry an American... Those are two options anyway! |

Are those my two only options? I can't apply for legal status? I know it would be a long process but I'm not really holding my breath for that amnesty and even though I do have an american boyfriend, I'm just not sure it'd be the right thing to do.
