My country is a bit of a sinking ship. People are leaving in droves. Mostly to Australia. My problem is that I don't want to migrate to Australia. So... I'm looking at other countries.
I have money to invest but I don't have any skills. I am hoping someone on here would know of a site that I can get a list of countries that are easy to get residence or citizenship too. It would also be handy if I could buy or long term lease property there. (IE an apartment.) Because of my countries poor economy it would have to be either a developing or 3rd world country. So if some one knows of a site or has any suggestions I would love to hear from you. Thank you. |

I wish to inform you that laws of each country are different and your purpose and relations in a particular country are some of the factors which are taken into consideration. Generally countries like Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Svalbard and Belize. These countries allow a person to reside comparatively easily if you can investment in these countries.

My main problem is of course the first step to migrate to a lot of countries is work visa. Sadly every country I have been too for the purpose of migration so far has required a skill. I don't have one. This is my biggest problem. For me a NZ citizen I can migrate to Fiji based on investment but I don't really want to live in Fiji. Its kind of my back up plan. Central and south america are sadly too expensive for me unless I had a no skills required job their. I would love to hear from anyone who is working outside of there own country in a no skills required job and obtained a work visa. Thank you for your input.

I am a lawyer from Azerbaijan. This country could a good choice for you as it is distinguished for its economic prosperity and tolerance. If you decide to apply, I am at your disposal as a specialist.

You might take a look at Patagonia for the population there is thin and there are incentives to migrate there and set up a business. Sheep ranching is the predominant occupation.
