U.S citizen married to Philippine citizen

I got married to my wife me being a U.S. citizen my wife being a Philippine citizen. I found out after our marriage that she had actually been married in the Philippines before we were married. During the course of our marriage she was able to get an annulment. Now I am about to try and apply for citizen ship for my wife but I don't know what to do knowing what I know now. Please help me someone!

I wish to inform you that your marriage is a valid marriage. In this regard when your marriage was done at that time as your wife was married in Philippines so at that time your marriage was not a valid marriage but as the previous marriage was annulled in Philippines therefore your marriage becomes a valid marriage. At present your marriage is a valid marriage because both the parties are not married to any other person and the previous marriage of your spouse has been annulled.

Great news! so now as long as my wife and I are upfront and honest about what has happened and provide documentation of her annulment then there wont be a problem with getting her citizenship?

You must apply a new passport before going to your wife in the U.S.

Currently, if your wife is in Philippines, you should file a I-130 Petition to bring her back to United States or if your wife is in United States you should file both I-130 and I-485 petition together.
