So im a permanent resident and will apply for citizenship in 2 months on the Naturalization form it asks about any marriages.... Since i got married to my boyfriend then (husband now - in california at least) do i have to list it on the form. I live in Nevada and our state doesnt recognize gay marriage nor the federal govt. So do i not list it and my citizenship denied since i omitted the info or have it denied because i listed it. thanks for the help...

Normally you should list the marriage and say recognized in California only.
This is a new issue and is still not settled in federal law at this point. |
