Default Citizenship and Shoplifting

Hi! My family applied for Canadian citizenship over a year ago. While it was in process my husband and I were caught shoplifting, arrested , fingerprinted and charged with theft. We contacted a lawyer and were put into diversion program and the charges were withdrawn.
A week ago we received the letter asking us to provide fingerprints from Immigration and Citizenship Canada.
I am very worried, I do not know what to expect next.
My question is: are we going to be denied the citizenship due to this stupid behaviour? Do we still have the chance?
Thank you.
