Confused proof of living five years in the u.s

HI

.
My parents were living in the U.S, and that why I got the U.S citizenship.
Now, I know that I can get a U.S citizenship also for my Childs, if I can give a proof that one of my parents was living in the U.S for at least five years, and at the end of the procedure I will have to come with my children's to an interview in the U.S.
The problem is that I have not certification that proof that my parents were living in the U.S, no record of school, no employment certificate etc..
I will be very grateful if any one of you know any official certificate which I can get that proof that case.
I hope I succeded to explain myself because my English is poor.

thankes
