Default selective services

if you are applying for citizenship and are a male 36 years old and did not register with selective services what process or steps must one take to revsolve this issue?

Go to the post office and get the paper work.
I know this for a fact since my son , who is 19, has to do that now when he is applying for a US citizent ship.
