How to file N-400
My wife and I have been married for 10 years and living in the US. I am a US citizen. Since my wife got her permanent residency based on marriage does she need to file her N-400 on the basis of marriage or since she has already been a permanent resident for more then 5 years can she file it based on 5 year rule? I just want to make sure that her being here on an IR-1 doesn't force her to file based on marriage. The only reason I ask because documentation is much easier and straight forward on a simple 5 year based filing.
