my mother married an american and he adopted me and i have the papers of my adoption;he has past away now. that happen when i was 8 years old an my mother filed immigration papers but they were never picked up at immigration, now i am 48 and i would like to know if a can immigrate my children to the usa; but mi children dont have my adoption name and i dont know mi natinality status.

It would seem to me you need to have somebody, perhaps a lawyer to check your status and then outline a plan to go forward.

Anything could have happened or been filed. You need to get that clarified.
