We purchased some acreage and want to move our manufactured home to it. The bank has the lein for the home and the current lot its on which we do not intend to sell. The bank is telling us that we cannot move the home until the loan is paid because its the banks collateral. We have never missed a payment and it would still be the banks collateral once it was moved. Do they have the right to tell us we cant move it? We are in the state of Missouri....thankyou! Kellie

Normally they keep their lien wherever you put it that is correct. Ask to meet with a higher supervisor. Also check your loan agreement which may require they approve a move. Then get the approval.
