Unpaid mortgage... what can I expect?
I want to voluntarily give my house back to the mortgage company. Other than bad credit in the future what else can I expect? Will they come after me for the unpaid mortgage?

In some states they can sue for the deficiency amount that they lose after they sell at auction.
But frankly often these days they will not do so due to costs etc. |
