Default LLC

If we buy a house on an LLC will it protect us from past creditors, before forming the LLC from forcing a sale of the house and throwing us out. I heard it is the way to protect you from collection agencies and court judgements.
It is not you who owns the house it is a corporation name on the house, not your name and old debts cannot touch the house
