Default Am I safe legally from debt?

I recieved a house thru my grandmother by title. ..She purchased a house that would suit both of us. She wanted to help me
get a
house as I had no job ...All was well for one year she and I shared the

payments..Well recently she's passed away . Immediatly I started trying to refinance these mortages in my name and hopefully something affordable to myself..But with market values it can't be done. I cannot afford the
house , Not to mention they,ve already talked about calling due the loans.
..Seeing as I'm not in the mortage agreement at all am I going to be
held
responcibly with my credit and stuff if they foreclose on me..
