Is good ole Simon still around? I though they would have jailed him by now.

Brodie has fled and the business is not making any deliveries. We and 2 other parties have filed for an arrest warrant so that he may be jailed and forced to pay restitution. The issue is a pure criminal law issue at this point.

Can somebody just arrest and imprison this guy? How does he keep walking free?

We purchased a cat from Allerca after the company existed for a couple of years. We watched the TV reports, and read about the cats in Time Magazine; thought we'd done our homework. Not only did we pay for the cat, but a premium for early-delivery. We got a sick cat in Summer, 2008, not even close to the color we'd chosen, and about a year later than promised.

We had to return her because our allergies would not tolerate her. Simon even stuck us for the funds to return her! We've tried to deal fairly and patiently with him in order to receive our promised refund. But he really is nothing more than a scam artist. And that...you can take to the bank!

How does one do this? I'd like to do the same.

He also had a Delaware address with a different company name, but still some sort of cat/dog business. I've read that he's now in Las Vegas.

Is it true that World Law has a 5000 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of Brodie--or seizure of his assets? Can I still collect?

The last I heard, he was in Nevada, had stopped selling the cats, and had sold the company. This from emails he's sent to me. What recourse do we have? Where do we complain to have him arrested? Nevada's Attorney General doesn't handle individual consumer complaints, so where does one complain in NV?

I tried Nevada also, but you are right, they don't accept complaints from individuals. Report him to the Attorney General in your state. If you mailed him a check, report him to the United States Postal Inspector. Also, report him to the Federal Trade Commission. Don't know if any of these agencies can help individuals, but it will get his fraud out there in many places. Also, report him to the Better Business Bureau.
