is my money gone for life

i borrowed a friend of mine 200,000 shillings and we signed an agreenment (in Nariobi) that he would pay me back at a seminer were to attend on th 22 of july 2008 in mombasa on that day he was no where to be found i later learnt that he had no intention of paying me back th loan where should i sue him and what remedies should i seek for from the court.

you can file a case against him for not returning back the money but remember that have you written any condition in agreement that if your friend will not return the money what will be the condition for that.
