Confused timeshare nightmare

This is concerning timeshare property in Mexico. They are trying to bill us thousands in late fees on maintenance fees we only found out were unpaid because I called the resort to use a week. We recieve no bills or notices that it is due or past due. I need to know if laws are different because they are in MX? My understanding is there is a limit to late fees that can be charged. I want to get this settled ASAP and have no problem paying reasonable late fees but over 700% is crazy!!!! Please help!!!

ALL timeshares are a type of scam, and are a complete waste of money. In
Mexico even more so. Sell it if you can. The $300 a month wasted on payments could send you on a 5 star vacation to any location, not just the same old place every year. these fee will keep poping up. Good luck

I bought my timeshare from Point To Point Destinations (West Coast Timeshare). If I had checked the facts earlier I would have made a better judgment.

I'm sharing the facts I learned to everyone who wants to check the facts first. Go to Timeshare Revealed.
