I am newly divorced and living in the home I shared with my husband. We have a hot tub he took a loan on 1 1/2 yrs ago. I want to sell it and keep the money. The tub was not mentioned in the divorce. He still owes 3600. and I have a buyer who will give me 3000. Can I keep the money legally, or do I have to give it to my ex to pay off the loan that is in his name?
