Confused uif

i've worked for a real estate agency. my ex employer refuse to sign my uif papers and for my probation of three months she didn't deduct uif what must i do? i spoke to her yesterday and she said to me only if i get the tenants to move out she'll sign my papers, isn't that black mail?

You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue if that is possible!
