Default Is there any reason a person should have to give back a gift once it is given?

My son received a laptop computer, a pair of shoes and an ipod speaker system for Christmas from a family friend. She got mad at us and now wants the gifts back from my son. Is there any reason a person should have to give back a gift once it is given?

Default Re: Gifts

No.

Once a gift is given it cannot be taken back legally.
