Angry buyer wants refund

we sold a car lastnight. the car is in good condition the only thing wrong with it is that it needs a change of oil. we told the buyer it needed this and ha agreed. he liked the car and he had no complaints, he even test drove it and said nothing. today his dad calls asking for a refund saying oil was leaking from the car and that his son didn't do anything to the car. he wants a refund. but this man wasn't even with his son lastnight and didn't see the car untill his son got home. now how do i know that his son didn't do anything to the car? should he get a refund?

Default Re: buyer wants refund

If they ask for it immediately you may want to refund. They did buy as is but if they see the defect immediately you may lose in court.

An expert could opine if they caused the problem---if you truly never saw the problem before.
