Bounced check
I recently lent a friend $120. He wrote me a check and told me not to cash it for a few days. I did so and cashed it three days later. His check bounced. What legal action can I take to get my money back form him?

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against him (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered.

Take the check to his bank and cash it..... You have 6 months to collect the money before the check is stale dated (too old). If you can not get from his account. Take him to small claims court. Good Luck!!
