Default heresay questions

I am taking a class to become a paralegal.
Right now, we are being taught about hearsay. I have tried to read about it
online but I am still confused about it. Could I get a better explanation,
maybe with an example, to better understand it?

Default Re: heresay questions

second-hand evidence in which the witness is not telling what he/she knows personally, but what others have said to him/her.

and that is not allowed

you need to get the one that says or knows into court
