Confused my juvenile was arrested and im not sure what our rights are

6 days ago my juvenile son snuck out of my home and went "joy riding" with some of his friends....when the friends mother realized her car was gone she called it in stolen and the police pulled the car over and found stolen property in the vehicle. they found the people that were robbed and they acknowledged that the property in the vehicle WAS the stolen property.
my son (15) was NOT driving.....he says he had nothing to do with the stolen property but the police say they know he was involved in the burglary no matter what he says. they took my childs information etc and sent him home with me and told me they would get in touch with us when they knew something....its almost been a week and i still havent heard a THING! the friends he was with that evening were also minors but the police have already been to their house and searched the house because the older child (16) has had prior arrests for burglary, but the police havent come to my home at all. my question is...can they come search my house even though they caught them all FAR away from my home and i didnt have anything to do with any of this!!...my child doesnt have any priors...and they took them all immediately to the police station that evening before releasing them...
what are my rights as far as search and seizure and what are my childs rights as far as being in a car that has stolen property in it?
thanks in advance for your advice.

If they get a warrant they can come yes--but if they have not done so already they may not be coming.

It would seem they don't have too much evidence to connect your son.

If they pursue it, make sure you hire legal counsel asap. Don't try to handle that alone.
