Angry Animal Rights

Hi,

I would like to know what are my rights if a security guard from a armed response company shot and killed my dog? According to the guard the dog attacked him when he responded on a call-out. My dog usually stayed within my yard and would have started barking with him still outside. I think he shot the dog through the gate. What can I do now?

Thank you

Arthur

Default Re: Animal Rights

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against him (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to his behavior...

You may file a police report as well.
