EEK! Possible Lawsuit against a major University

Hi,
Is it possible to sue a univeristy if they offered a program that did not meet the state requirements for Principal Certification and once you were enrolled in the program (not knowing it was fraudulent) you found out during you last semester there that the university removed the program because it did not meet the state standards leaving you with a master's but no certificate to pursure the job you really wanted in the first place?? This happened to me and another girl. We would like legal advice about this. Thank you so much!

Yes you very possibly could sue. What was the program and what actually happened?

Can someone help me? I am a full time college student at a baker college here in michigan. When I first enrolled in college I was in an associates degree that I had completed all the courses for and when it come down to one class left they quit offering the program. They won't offer me a substitute class and now I am about to graduate with another associates of a different program they won't let me take a class to compensate for the first degree. Sorry for sounding confusing. This is a confusing matter. I need that first degree to put on my resumes and in my portfolio to prove my knowledge of the subject. Why won't they let me have my degree?

You could ask them to make arrangement with another school that will help you get the degree you want.

You could threaten legal action since you did rely on the courses they set out for you.
