Confused can the insurance people question me?

my brother-in-law is in a lawsuit in California, and his insurance company is investigating him (he still lives in CA). Now, i live in Kansas, is it legal for the insurance people to come to my home and ask for information? They have already visited my sister who also lives in Kansas. what should i do?

Default Re: can the insurance people question me?

You don't have to reply unless they have a subpoena--and it must be a valid subpoena.
