Default vehicle loan

My daughter's car was stolen 2 years ago. A friend of hers offered to give her a car she had if my daughter took over payments. They had no written agreement. My daughter has made all payments and in addition took care of all mechanical repairs needed. This friend is now demanding the car back. My daughter has no problem giving up the car but wants to know if the friend can sue her for any reason if there are any repairs needed when the friend takes possession of the car.

Default Re: vehicle loan

Not really--some depreciation of the car is to be expected.
