My mother in law and her boyfriend each bought savings bonds for my daughter. One for 50 and another for 200. They were purchased in January and March of 2006. I have the physical forms that were filled out at the bank for each as well as the certificate that the buyer gives you until the bonds come in the mail. She had both bonds mailed to her address rather than ours and refuses to give my husband and I the bonds. Can someone please tell me who is actually entitled to possess the bonds until my daughter is old enough to take them herself, she is 4. Thanks.

If they bought them, they can keep the bonds till due.
