My grandmother is 101 and is in an assisted living facility. It will cost $900 more per month to raise her level of care. She has enough money to last for about 14 months at the new rate; however, after that, she will have to be on medicaid(?). Will we have to move her to a nursing home . . . or can she stay where she is and with the current facility have to accept whatever Medicaid pays? She has been in this facility for 4 years.

Check wih your state social services but where we live they are not required to keep her if it is a private facility.
