Forced to stand for the pledge.
I am a junior in High school, I have a teacher who forces us to stand for the pledge, but not recite it. She forces us with unspoken threats, it seems, she says in a tone like if we don't stand we will be in trouble.
Is she allowed to do this? Do I have some right that she is violating? I don't think it is right that she is forcing us to stand for the pledge.. we should have the choice to stand or not to stand, we have the choice to recite it or not.. I just don't understand. Any help would be great, thanks. |

She can require you to stand...that part is not illegal.
