I wish to in form you that getting into a good law school involves hard work. As compared to 10 year ago competition may have increased and thus getting in law school may have become more difficult.

Everything depends upon where you hope to enroll. "Law school" can be anything from an Ivy League institution like Harvard or Stanford to night schools, some accredited and some not.

Applications to law school have dropped significantly the past few years -- perhaps due to the economy which has caused layoffs and even shut down of prestigious, large firms. Starting salaries for associates has also dropped substantially, making a law degree not as precious as it was a decade or so ago.

To answer your question, since applications are down, getting into law school should be easier than 10 years ago. Only because there are not that many willing to pay the freight for a sheepskin that is worth quite a bit less.
