legal obligation for estranged sister
I've been estranged from my 50 year old sister for 30 years. She's now hospitalized and is in critical condition but is expected to live. The hopital claims she is my legal responsibility because our parents are deceased and she is not married. I do not have the money or the desire to be her caretaker. What is my legal obligation?

You are not legally responsible for her. That is not true.
