Mother expects a free ride from daughter
My niece has been hosing her mom for 1 year in a home she rents.Her mom is not on the lease. Her mom does not contribute to the household.My niece told her mom she had to leave but her mom refuses.She threatened to call the police on her.States she has "squatters rights."Can she make her mom leave?My niece is having trouble making ends meet as a single mom with 2 children.She allowed her mom to stay so she could save money to rent her own place/and or they could work together to share expenses.Her mom works part time as a waitress and spends tips and 20 hour work week check on alcohol.Can she put her out?

She has to evict her now just like any other tenant--assuming she cannot be made to agree.
