As such, you should have your own bank account in your own name. That will eliminate the need to use mommy's bank account and therefore whining if she spends "your" money.
Holy crap....this parent sounds like an a-hole. and fyi: just because you have someone hold on to your stuff, it does not make that stuff theirs...refering back to the money troubles. anyway, here is my question- is it legal for a parent to kick you out of the house at 17? and not let you come back? where exactly does the law draw the line at this sort of thing? |

I wish to inform you that parents of a child are responsible for welfare of child till child turns 18 years old. In this your parent can only move you out of present home if they have an alternative arrangement for your stay. In this you may inform parent that as you are 17 years old thus you come under the supervision of parents and they must take steps in your best interest. If your parents refuses then you may take assistance from law enforcement agencies including CPS.
