Thumbs Up i wanna get this boat off my property

I have a boat on my property that does not belong to me .How long do I wait before I can get rid of it.I know who it belongs to but he refuses to do anything with it. It has not been used since 1987. I have owned this home since 2003 where the boat is in my yard. please help. I
live in NEW JERSEY.

You normally need to try to give 30 days notice in writing that you intend to dispose of the items; and then also inform the local police what you are doing as well. After that you should be okay.
