I wish to inform you that the laws of the state where power of attorney is to be issued will govern the power to appoint a power of attorney from another state. Generally, you can appoint a Power of Attorney from another state and it would be normally acceptable in your state.

POA's are only as enforceable as any recipient of one of them allows them to be. Banks do not have to accept POA's or honor them. POA's are merely a courtesy formality. They hold no viably legal power.
