Exclamation Home Depot injury -- I fractured my foot loading material on my own truck

I fractured my foot loading material on my own truck on the loading dock at Home Depot. A 4x4x8 fell off of the cart and facture my right foot. Home Depot did not cause the accident (other than not providing better equipment and load labor) but it was on their property (loading dock).

Who is responsible? I have been to the E.R. twice and have an appointment to the M.D. this morning. Total medical at this point= 1,000.00

You can file a suit in Small Claims Court. In the Court you will have to show that for want of proper equipment to be provided by Home Depot to its customers, the box fell upon you and you were injured. This will involve your Claim under failure to provide proper service and damage done to you in person.

You can claim worker's compensation, but if you do, be prepared to lose your job for one obscure reason or another.

At this point, you medical bills are your responsibility.
