Angry harassment?

Last tuesday morning my girlfriend went to drop off my 3 year old daughter at the babysitter's house. upon knocking for ten straight minutes my girlfriend called me and said there was no answer on the door so on the ten minute drive from work to the babysitter's house i tried calling her phone a half dozen times with no answer. I then arrived and knocked for another 10 minutes on the door with no answer. I then had to take a day off of work to find a new babysitter which i succeeded at. I make approximate 100 dollars a day and pay 100 a week in babysitting to the former sitter. so in my mind the money i lost from work and the money owed to her broke even. today she has called my business line 67 times (we have constant call records) and my cell phone another 45 times all today. is this legal she gets to my vmail and just hangs up everytime. She has been told numerous times if she wants to make it a legal matter then she > can bring me to court and sort it there however she is still continuosly calls my job and cell phone is this legal?

She cannot call that many times. You can inform your phone company --and the police if need be.

She's probably just being immature, as you and your girlfriend went beyond what is reasonable for knocking and calling in order to receive any kind of response.

It's not really considered harassment if she is not leaving messages, threatening or obscene. She is simply hanging up as it goes to voice mail. Why not simply answer the phone and speak with her directly?

What grounds would she be taking you to court over?
